    Job Description

    Mother Caroline Academy & Education Center (MCA) is seeking a passionate and experienced Literacy Specialist to join our mission-driven community. As Boston’s only tuition-free independent school for girls, MCA empowers students in grades 3–8 to think bigger, bolder, and beyond through educational excellence, leadership development, and community stewardship. Our Literacy Specialist will play an important role in ensuring every student develops the strong reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills needed to thrive in school and beyond.

    We are looking for an educator who believes deeply in the potential of every child and enjoys working collaboratively with students and teachers. This full-time, two-year grant-funded position combines direct student instruction and targeted intervention with teacher coaching, literacy assessment, data analysis, and professional development. If you are an experienced elementary or middle school educator who brings energy, expertise, and a commitment to helping girls discover the power of their own voices, we invite you to learn more and consider joining the MCA community.
